Don is the Executive Director of the Ontario Industrial Roofing Contractors Association (OIRCA).

After working at a roofing product distributor company for several years, he went off on his own and successfully ran his own roofing company for 13 years before joining the not-for-profit sector. With this shift, Don was able to give back to the industry he grew up in and establish the OIRCA’s Rooftop Rescue Foundation. Don has over 40 years of experience within Ontario’s unionized construction industry and is most passionate about continuing to increase awareness of Ontario’s unionized roofing sector. Don has served on the OCS Board since 2013 and sees the benefit of the OCS’ tripartite model, and the continued collaboration of Labour, Management, and Government.

Don is fond of the great relationships that he has made throughout his career within the industry and is proud to be a part of such an interesting industry. He currently resides in Mississauga, where you can typically find him watching Formula One in his free time.
