On March 5, 2026, industry leaders and stakeholders gathered at The International Centre for the 26th Annual State of the Industry & Outlook Conference. The event brought together members of Ontario’s unionized ICI construction industry for a morning of insightful discussion, economic analysis, and meaningful industry connection.

This year’s program explored the key economic forces, industry perspectives, and policy developments shaping construction across the province. Attendees heard from a strong lineup of speakers who shared valuable insights on the current landscape and what lies ahead for the sector.

• Ontario’s Construction Industry: Views from the Field with Katherine Jacobs of Ontario Construction Secretariat

• Fireside Chat with Angela Clayton of Infrastructure Ontario
• Keynote address from Darrell Bricker, Global CEO of Ipsos Public Affairs

The event Beyond the presentations, the conference provided an opportunity for attendees to reconnect with colleagues, build new relationships, and exchange perspectives on the challenges and opportunities facing the industry
